I’m drawn to ideas that make technology feel more intuitive, expressive, and human. I enjoy exploring the small behaviours and emotional details that shape how people experience digital products.
I began with an engineering mindset and gradually moved towards design, research, and education. I still carry that systems-based way of thinking, but now pair it with visual experimentation and human observation.
I divide my time between designing, experimenting, teaching, and mentoring. This allows my professional practice and academic work to continually challenge and inform one another.
I do not begin by asking what the interface should look like. I begin by asking what a person should understand, feel, or be able to do.
I collect ideas from people, culture, technology, cinema, editorial design, movement, sound, and the strange behaviours hidden inside everyday life.
Open to product design collaborations, UX consulting, and conversations on interfaces, systems, and craft. Reach out any time.
